Ask your Mother

My son, keep your father's commandment, and forsake not your mother's teaching.

I don't know about you, but in our house growing up, my father's only commandment was whatever my mother said it was.

"Dad, can I go to Matt's house?"
"What did your mother say?"
"She said to ask you."
"Ask her again."

My father is a very wise man.
